The Tamil Nadu Organic Certification Department is operating under the guidance and accreditation of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export and Development Agency under the National Organic Agriculture Programme of the Central Government.

The Department of Organic Certification was established in 2007 in Tamil Nadu and is headquartered in Coimbatore to promote unique marketing and export of organic produce, horticulture and other crop products by farmers.

In this situation, the Director visited the Organic Farms registered for organic certification at Kettavadi in the Talawadi area of ​​the district with Organic Certification Quality Manager R. Krishnaveni.

They conducted a study about the inputs used for organic farming, the methods of preparing them on the farm, and examined the naturally grown vegetable, banana, coconut and fruit crops.
