Seven corona mobile testing vehicle service has been launched in Erode.
It was flagged off by District Collector C. Kadiravan in the presence of Corporation Commissioner M. Ilangovan who said: Corona Testing Center is functioning at 10 places in Erode town. Currently, the epidemic is spreading.
Subsequently, a corona test vehicle was launched to control the spread of the corona. 7 vehicles are operated as 3 vehicles with private contribution and 4 with government assistance. This vehicle will have a doctor, a nurse and an assistant.
The inspection vehicle will go to the places where more cases are found. People in the area will be tested for the flu and if it is a normal flu, they will be treated accordingly.
The mucus sample will be collected and sent to the Erode Government Medical College Hospital in Perundurai for corona examination. The affected person should isolate himself at home till getting the test result.
In case of infection, the person will be taken to a testing center.
It involves a full body examination to decide whether he can be treated at home or in a hospital. Of 672 affected persons in the town, about 90 percent are isolated and treated at home.
The rest are being treated at the hospital. People over the age of 45 can show the Aadhar card and get vaccinated, he added.
