The union government says that the agricultural amendment laws are beneficial to the farmers. Farmers say the legislation will benefit corporates and destroy our livelihoods.
A Government should know the necessities of the people and act accordingly and should not force the people to accept their opinions.
The Union Government should try to mitigate the peasant struggle which has been going on for about a year in a fairway.
Instead, vehicles should be rammed on innocent farmers and no attempt should be made to end the protest by violence.
It is the wish of the people and the farmers that the Union Government should soon repeal the agricultural amendment laws that are opposed by many state governments, including Tamil Nadu.
