The Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandiyan on Friday inspected the isolated houses on Karuppa Gounder Street in Coimbatore.
Corona infections in Coimbatore have been on the decline for the past few days and are now on the rise for the past one week. More than 350 people are affected every day. Meanwhile, houses have been isolated in 35 wards in Coimbatore. 15 houses in Karuppa Gounder Street of the Coimbatore Central Zone have been isolated and inspected after five persons in the same family tested positive for COVID 19.
Wearing a face mask to prevent the spread of corona is mandatory. The corporation has also announced that those who do not wear mask will be levied a fine of Rs 200.
