Coimbatore woman becomes the first woman Poclain driver in TN

Charu Syndicate, an accredited distributor of Mahindra & Mahindra in Coimbatore, introduces Tamil Nadu’s first female Bokline vehicle driver to create employment opportunities for women.

The team also trains more than 100 women in heavy vehicle handling across Tamil Nadu. Angala Eswari is the first woman in the state to operate a Poclain vehicle. With hard work and perseverance, she indulged herself in rigorous training and developed her driving skills.

Female entrepreneurs Rukmini Samiyappan and Bharathi Shakthi Balaji while talking about the advancement of women, said, “We have been training a large number of women for the job of Poclain vehicle operator. This training is a factor in raising women in the community.

We thought it would motivate women who are only doing household chores to do their favourite job of their choice”. They added that one-third of entrepreneurs are women. They said the number of female entrepreneurs in India has increased due to economic progress, education, urbanization, cultural and social recognition.
