The Salem Division of Southern Railways will run a weekly special train between Coimbatore and Rameswaram from April 27.
According to a press release issued by the Railway Administration, “The weekly special will leave Coimbatore at 7.45 pm on Tuesdays from April 27 and reach Rameswaram at 6.15 am the next day. Similarly, it will depart from Rameswaram on Wednesdays from April 28 at 7.25 pm.
The weekly special train will arrive in Coimbatore at 6.30 am the next day. These trains will stop at Tirupur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchirappalli, Pudukottai, Karaikudi, Devakottai Road, Manamadurai, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram and Mandapam.
