Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Begins 18+ Vaccine Drive at DICV Plant in Oragadam

COIMBATORE


The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr M.K. Stalin inaugurated the vaccination centre at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) manufacturing plant in Oragadam.


The event was presided over by the Minister for Rural Industries Mr. T.M. Anbarasan, the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, SriperumpudurThiru T.R. Baalu and the Member of Legislative Assembly, Sriperumbudur Mr. K. Selvaperunthagai.


The officials were welcomed to the Vaccination Centre by Mr. Satyakam Arya, MD, and CEO, DICV.

The inauguration marks the official start of COVID-19 vaccinations for Tamil Nadu automotive industry workers aged 18-44. Mr. Satyakam Arya, MD & CEO, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles said, “Accelerating vaccination efforts is critical to safeguard the community.


With support from state government and local partners, DICV’s Vaccination Centre has been designed to ensure faster vaccine administration to those 18 and above.
