The Chennai Super Stars cricket team, who represented Tamil Nadu at the DPL cricket tournament, met MNM chief Kamal Hasan on Monday as a token of gratitude for helping them out to participate in the tournament held in the UAE.
18 players of the Chennai Stars team from Tamil Nadu met Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Hassan in Coimbatore on March 31, asking for help to go to the Divyang Premier League (DPL), the cricket tournament for the disabled held in Dubai.
Back then, Kamal Haasan helped the contestants get tickets and visas to go to the Dubai match immediately through his party. The players who then went to Dubai and participated in the tournament played and won the trophy.
On this occasion, the players who returned to Tamil Nadu from Dubai met Kamal Hassan at the party office in Alwarpet with the trophy and extended their gratitude. Kamal Hasan congratulated them on their victory.
