The goons of the opposition party in West Bengal have violently attacked the Chief Minister and this has eventually grabbed the attention of the whole nation.
Yet Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee has revived back to normalcy and has started her campaigns with a fractured leg.
It is astonishing; Appreciations to her!
When the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamta Banerjee(66) was campaigning at Nandigram after filing her nomination, the goons of the opposition party dashed her in an attempt to push her.
In that, her leg got hurt. People were shocked that the security of the Chief Minister itself is at stake.
Mamta Banerjee has encountered so many incidents of this sort in her 40 years of political career and she has bounced back successfully so far.
Mamta Banerjee, who always appears in a simple white saree and a pair of rubber sandals, became famous in her landslide victory against the veteran CPI(M) leader Somnath Chatterjee in 1984.
In 1990, Lalu Shubham, leader of the Democratic Youth Federation of India attacked Mamta on her head and she was heavily injured in that attack.
Even then, she neither asked for security nor it was given to her.
But today, the Chief Minister of West Bengal is under tight security.
It is completely unfair for the goons of the opposition party to attack the CM amidst the security forces.
Severe action should be taken against the security officer who is responsible for the security lapse as well as those who were involved in the attack.
Only then, the democratic right of the opposition leader to be given protection will be saved.
This situation which Mamta faced, can happen to anyone and so we need to be cautious.
