At each location, we take blood samples from people in 30 households and send them for testing. We collect blood samples from many people who have been cured of a corona infection, those who are infected, and those who are not sure where the flu came from.
For this, a team consisting of a doctor, lab technicians, a health inspector and a village health nurse are working in each area. We send these samples to Coimbatore.
Various data are collected on the level of immunity of the population as the infection progresses, including corona infection.
It is not known whether this test is being performed to determine if people with corona infection are at risk for Delta Plus exposure.
We collect and send these samples as per the order of the State Health Department, they added.
