Yercaud MLA submits list of demands to Salem Collector

Yercaud Assembly Constituency MLA Chitra submitted a memorandum to the Salem Collector regarding maintenance of public utilities and demands of the people in the constituency.

In the letter the MLA has requested the Collector to provide free house leases to the people living in unapproved lands. She also placed a demand that the Raja Gopuram of the Servarayan Temple should be constructed and a park be developed around the temple. 

The dirt road connecting Maramangalam panchayat through Kotachedu should be laid as a metal road.
With regard to tourism amenities,Chitra wanted the government to build a suspension bridge to cross the Yercaud ornamental lake from Anna Park and to the deer park where tourists congregate in large numbers
