Training session for candidates and representatives in Nilgiris

Nilgiris Electoral Officer and District Collector M Aruna organised a training session for candidates and their representatives at the district collector’s office on Friday. The purpose of the session was to ensure that all participants understand the guidelines and procedures to be followed during vote counting day.
The training covered essential aspects such as the proper procedures for counting votes from electronic voting machines (EVMs) and ballot votes. Participants were informed about the necessary items to bring to the vote counting centre and the items that are prohibited. Additionally, detailed manuals were distributed to provide comprehensive guidance.
District officials including Additional Collector Koushik, Assistant Collector Suresh Kannan, and other government representatives attended the event.
