State Kickboxing Competition: Erode students win 7 gold medals

The state-level kickboxing competition was held for 3 days at the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in Chennai. Students from all districts of Tamil Nadu participated in this. 
20 students from Erode district participated and showcased their talents under the leadership of Erode District Kickboxing Association General Secretary and Chief Coach A-Yusuf. 
In this, the students created a record by winning 7 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 4 bronze medals in various categories. 
Moreover, the students who won the medals qualified for the national level competition.
Housing and Prohibition and Excise Department Minister S. Muthusamy congratulated the students who achieved the feat in Erode.  Furthermore, Erode District Kickboxing Association President Thennarasu, Trainers V. Raja, K. Sengottaiyan alias Yuvaraj, S. Mahendran, P.S. Shankar, and M. Sheikh Mohammed also praised him.
