SRM students return after training at FIFA World Cup

Students of SRM Institute of Hotel Management who took part in the FIFA World Cup at Qatar as part of their international exposure training returned to Chennai. Around  355 students left well in advance of FIFA World Cup 2022. The students were hosted by Qatar Start Services ,and this included accommodation for 3 months.

The students successfully completed their training programme and returned to pursue their regular course at SRM IST Hotel Management. The students who underwent a rigorous and grueling schedule received twice their monthly stipend of Rs. 80,000 as recognition and acknowledgment of their sincere and hardwork. This is not the first time that the students of the Institute have been a part of international events. It may be recalled that the students were also an integral part of ARAB FIFA World Cup’ 2021 at the same venue.
