Selection for inter-district cricket tournament on April 18

The president of district cricket association and Naruvi hostel’s chairman Sampath announced that the association will be selecting players on April 18 to represent the district in the inter-district cricket tournament.

In a statement, Sampath said that the selection process to identify crickets to represent the district in the inter-district cricket tournament will be held at Rajeshwari complex located on Chennai-Bengaluru National highway in the district on April 18.

The selection process will begin at 9 am, and it will be carried out under two categories – under 16 years and 19 years. Those who are born on or after September 1, 2006 are eligible to participate in under 19-year category, while those who are born on or after September 1, 2009 are eligible to participate in under 16-year category, as per the statement.
