Minister distributes Rs 3.52 cr aid

Housing Minister S Muthusamy distributed Rs 3.52 cr benefits under the free marriage aid, Pudhumai Pengal and sericulture department schemes to nearly 2500 persons at the Erode collectorate on Saturday. In his speech, he highlighted a plan to create a sports, and IAS academy in the Erode CN College.

 He appealed to the parents to encourage their wards to study well and attend civil service exams to become collectors. He cited the government aid of Rs 7000 per month  to attend the preliminary of civil service exams and further financial aid office to attend main exam. Collector H Krishnanunni presided over the function.
