India’s first Indigenous Aircraft carrier Vikrant to be inducted on Sep 2

India's Indigenous aircraft carrier Vikrant is all set for induction into the Indian Navy on September 2 in Kochi. 
The Indian Navy is gearing up to give final touches to IAC Vikrant before its formal induction. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to induct the Made-in-India aircraft carrier. 

Built at an estimated cost of Rs 20,000 crore by Cochin shipyard Limited, IAC Vikrant will counter China's presence in the Indian Ocean.Fighter jets have been brought to the aircraft which is set to operate MiG-29K fighter jets, Kamov-31 helicopters and MH-60R multi-role helicopters.
