To celebrate creators from Tamil Nadu, and the way they are using Reels as a global stage to grow and be discovered, Meta (formerly Facebook) recently organized a creator meet-up in Coimbatore.
The event was aimed at celebrating these creators and giving them collaboration opportunities. It was also an opportunity to share with them the latest product information and Instagram and Facebook’s wellbeing tools with them said AnkurVaish, Head - Creator Partnerships, Facebook India (Meta). The popularity of songs like ‘Arabic Kuthru’ and ‘PathalaPathala’ is proof of the way they have sparked trends on Reels, he added.
The event was attended by over 100 creators such as SathyaprakashDharmar (@dsathyaprakash), Kriti&Ifthi (@namma_ooru_couple), and Captain Squak (@squawk_rahulraj).SathyaprakashDharmar said, “Reels has been a growth engine for creators.
It has given a chance for newer creators to showcase their passion and get discovered by Instagram’s large diverse community, whether they’re in Tamil Nadu or Toronto.
