Bank of Baroda sanctions agri loans worth Rs 134 crore

As a part of the 5 th Edition of the ‘Baroda Kisan Pakhwada Bank of Baroda reached out to over 20,000 farmers in Tamil Nadu during the two-week farmer festival (Baroda Kisan Pakhwada) in Coimbatore and sanctioned agricultural loan worth Rs 134 crore within 15 days in Tamil NaduThe Bank organized farmers meets, choupals, soil testing camps, animal health check-ups and financial literacy programmes.

‘Baroda Kisan Pakhwada’ has been designed to help the Bank boost engagement with the farming community and create awareness about various agri products, schemes and delivery channels offered by Bank of Baroda and initiatives taken by the Government for the benefit of farmers, said,  A Saravanakumar, General Manager,  Zonal Head (Chennai Zone), Bank of Baroda.
