Athletic meet held at AIR Force Administrative College

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) Air Force School Coimbatore organized Inter School Athletic Meet in collaboration with nearby schools as a part of Play India Campaign (Khelo Bharat Abhiyan) on Nov 17.

The chief guest Dr.G.S Sameeran, District Collector, inaugurated the event. 
Mr. M Prathap  Commissioner, Coimbatore City Corporation, was the Guest of Honour. Air Commodore RV Ramkishore, Commandant, Air Force Administrative College, welcomed the gathering.

The event was aimed to develop team work, esprit-de-corps and camaraderie amongst the participants besides providing them suitable platform to develop and hone these qualities.More than 600 students from 17 schools participated in the mega event which consisted of 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 4X100 m relay, Shot Put and long jump. The Commandant appreciated the children for their participation and urged them to inculcate spirit of sportsmanship.
