All India Basketball Tournament from May 27

Coimbatore District Basketball Association has been successfully conducting the All India Basketball Tournament for Men for the past 55 years and for Women for the past 19 years.
This year, the tournaments are scheduled from May 27 to June. Ten leading teams of the country have been selected for the Men's tournament and they include Lonavala - Indian Navy, New Delhi - Indian Air Force, New Delhi - Indian Railways, Bangalore – Bank of Baroda, Trivandrum – Kerala Police, Chennai – Indian Bank, Chennai – Income Tax, Chennai – Tamilnadu Basketball Association,  Trivandrum – Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) and Coimbatore – Coimbatore District Basketball Association (CDBA).
For the Women's tournament, Eight teams selected are Trivandrum – Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB), Trivandrum - Kerala Police, Hubli – South Western Railways, Mumbai - Central Railways, Pune - Western Railway, Chhattisgarh – SAI, Chennai - Tamilnadu Basketball Association-TRW and Coimbatore – Coimbatore District Basketball Association (CDBA).
All the matches will be conducted at V.O.C. Park Basket Ball Court at 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Entry is Free.
The inaugural function is scheduled on 27th May 2023 at 5.00 pm. The Chief Guest of the function Mr. V. Balakrishnan, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City and Guest of Honour is Mr. G. Selvaraj, President, CDBA & Joint Managing Director, C.R.I. Group will preside over the inaugural function. 
The valedictory function is scheduled on 1st June 2023 at 8.00 pm.
