For the first time in Tamil Nadu, the Space Kitchen Food Court was launched in Coimbatore.
The science enthusiasts highly appreciate this initiative as the restaurant features a lot of information about outer space.
Space Kitchen Food Court has been set up at Miraj Cinemas in Ondipudur, Coimbatore.
Apart from the model structures of the cosmic objects, the restaurant also showcases various information about space in a way to attract science enthusiasts.
There are 6 types of stalls set up, such as Chinese, Thai, and Asian cuisine including Sri Lankan, and Indian cuisine, Arabian cuisine such as barbecue, and continental foods like pizza and burger.
Nithya Kumar, the owner of the restaurant, said that the restaurant was designed to give children who come to the restaurant a complete understanding of space and that the restaurant was set up with a gallery of astronaut Kalpana Chawla, and a model rocket to commemorate Abdul Kalam, and a robot that moves to detect body heat.
