900 cases registered for violating curfew norms

Corona 2nd wave has started rising again in Tamil Nadu.

Following this, the night curfew is observed from 10 pm to 4 am. During the curfew in Erode district, the police are actively monitoring and checking vehicles at 14 check posts and 34 important places in the district.

Superintendent of Police Thangadurai had already warned that stern action would be taken against violators of the rules.

More than 500 police officers from across the district were actively monitoring the situation throughout the night.

Cases have been registered against motorists, pedestrians and shop owners for violating the rules.

According to the police, more than 900 cases have been registered in Erode district till last night for violating curfew norms.Of these, 125 cases were registered on Thursday night alone.
