Corona infection has been found in 69 workers of a private animal feed factory at Savadipalayam, near Erode.
Workers from Tamil Nadu and the northern states are working there.
Corona testing has been going on for the last 3 days for those who work there.
Of these, 69 were confirmed to have corona infection on Saturday.
Most of them are from the northern states.
The plant was inspected by a team led by Erode RDO C. Saibudin, Modakkurichi tahsildar Sankarganesh and block health officer Ilangovan.
Those diagnosed with corona were admitted to a private hospital on Nasiyanur Road.
The plant management provides them with the basic facilities, food and medicine, they need.
Meanwhile, another 150 people working at the plant have been tested for corona.
The results will be known in a couple of days, health officials said.
