5 shops sealed for violating corona prevention rules

Collector C. Kadiravan on Thursday conducted a surprise inspection in Perundurai and Modakkurichi areas as a continuation of corona disease prevention activities. During the inspection, 12 shops were fined Rs. 27,000.

Of these, 5 stores were ordered to be ‘sealed’. He went on to warn the public traveling on buses of the need to wear face shields and warned that a fine of Rs 200 would be slapped for not wearing masks.

Owners must ensure that all employees in factories and companies wear face masks, use disinfectants and adhere to social space.

Business houses should allow persons only after testing body temperature. Do not sell anything to customers who do not wear a face mask in shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, tea shops, and grocery stores he advised.

The owner of the company that sells goods in violation of norms will be fined, the company will be ‘sealed’ and severe action will be taken.
