In the Erode district, corona vaccination was first given to front line staff such as doctors, nurses, police and other departmental civil servants. So far, more than 20,000 front-line workers have been vaccinated.
Following this, since March 1, the elderly over 60 years of age and those suffering from other infections between the ages of 45 and 59 have been vaccinated at 24 centers, including the Government Hospital and Primary Health Center in Erode, and 42 private hospitals.
Currently, the public is increasingly interested in getting vaccinated as the impact of corona is increasing.
Thus the number of people getting vaccinated is increasing day by day.
The health department has said that all members of the public over the age of 45 will be vaccinated against corona from April 1.
Accordingly, steps have been taken to vaccinate people over 45 years of age in the Erode district against corona.
Vaccination is being started in 24 government centers and 42 private hospitals in Erode district.
The general public who wish to be vaccinated can go directly to the respective center and get vaccinated by showing an identification card of their own.
According to the district health department, 45,335 people over the age of 45 have been vaccinated against corona in the Erode district so far.
